The system used for rubbish/garbage collection in your local area is not working properly. This is causing problems for you and your neighbours. Write a letter to the local council. In your letter

• describe how the rubbish collection system is not working properly
• explain how this is affecting you and your neighbours
• suggest what should be done about the problem

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to draw your attention to a serious issue in our local area. The rubbish collection service has been operating inefficiently, and as a result, it has caused considerable inconvenience to the residents.

The rubbish collection system has not been working properly since two months. As a result, a large amount of rubbish has accumulated in the bins, creating an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes this has increased the risk of diseases such as chikungunya, malaria and dengue. Despite repeated complaints no one has come to collect the rubbish and the waste

to pile up day by day. Consequently, this issue is causing serious inconvenience and posing a significant health risk to all the local residents.

I would be greatful if you could arrange for a mechanic to repair the rubbish collection system as soon as possible if that is not possible, I kindly request that you assign sanitation workers to collect the rubbish from our area on daily basis until the problem is resolved.

Your promt action would be greatly appreciated.
