The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The provided diagrams compare different types of electrical appliances namely washing machine, refrigerator, and vacuum cleaner used and time spent to do the house chores by households in a particular country between [redacted phone].

Overall, it is evident that the number of hours spent per week for the housework has decline gradually by the end of 2019. Whereas the percentage of people owning various electrical appliances has constantly increased.

To begin with, in 1920 people spent approximately 50 hours per week was allocated for chores, however, the number dropped to 20 hours per week in the year 1960. The number of hours declined gradually and reached 10 hours per week by the end of 2019.

In 1920, refrigerator was one of the least used appliances which was almost at 0%, however, the proportion skyrocketed in next 40 years and was accounted for 90%. This percentage gradually increased by 10% in 1980 and then remained constant through the remaining years. Similarly, in 1920 vacuum cleaner was sitting at 30%, it experienced significant growth and sat on 100% by 2000 and secured the place throughout.
