The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph depicts the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country over the period from 1920 to 2019. Overall, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner recorded the highest figure at 100% in 2019, while washing machine experience the lowest figure at 75%.

In 1920, refrigerator had the least percentage of households around 2% among all other appliances, however it rose steadily by crosing vaccum cleaner before reaching to 55% in 1940. While vaccum cleaner was recorded 30% in 1920 and climbed to 50% in 1940. Whereas, washing machine recorded higest figure at 40% in 1920, which increases to 60% in 1940. In 1960 washine machine and vaccum cleaner intersect at 70%, however vaccum cleaner increase consistently, whereas washine machine fell and increase gradually to 75% of households in 2019, accounted for the lowest among all three appliances. Similarly refrigerator and vaccum cleaner meets at 100% in 2000 and both stood constant till 2019.

Turning to amount of time spent on housework per week by per household over the period between 1920 and 2019. It is observed that, the highest amount of time spent by per household was in 1920 accounted for 50 hours, However it fell steadily up to 20% in 1960 and it continued fell to it lowest level in 2019 around 10%.
