The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Percentage of households with electrical appliances (1920-2019)

The bar chart illustrate the percentage of households with electrical appliances and the number of hours of housework per week in the same country in the years 1920 and 2019.

Overall, the households shares experiensed an upwerd trend during the period, where refrigerator share grew rapidly. While the number of hours of house work peer week experienced a downward trend during the period.

In 1920, refrigerator acounted for the smallest share about 1%, while washing machine and vacuum cleaner were 40% and 30% respectively. However the number of hours of housework per week was 50%.

in 2019, refrigerator share grew rapidly until reached it highest point at 100% in 1980 and it remaind steady to 2019, vacuum clearner share rose gradually to reach 100% in 2000 and unchanged in 2019. Washing machine share showed some flactuations, it increased to 70% in 1960 then it fell to about 62% in 1980, and it rose to around 71% in 2019. the number of hours of housework per week went down, it reashed the low point in 2019 at 11% approximately.
