The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graps illustrate the changes in the ownership of three electrical appliances ,namely washing machines,refrigerators and vacuum cleaners as well as the amount of time spent doing housework per households in one nation from 1920 and 2019.

Overall, the percentage of households owning electrical appliances increased significently over the period.While the number of hours spent on housework decreased significantly.Refrigerator and vacuum cleaners ownership rose dramatically, whereas washing machine ownership experienced a more gradualy increase.

In 1920,the parcentage of households with refrigerators was almost 0 % ,but thise figure increased dramatically to about 50 % in 1940 and 90 % in 1960.The figure then rose to 100 % in 1980 and remained at this level until 2019.

Regarding vacuum cleaners,the proportion of househols owning on stood at around 30% in 1920 and increased steadily to approximately 50 % in 1940 and 70 % in 1960.It continued to rise,reaching about 90 % in 1980 and 100 % in 2000,and remained unchanged.

In 1920,around 40 % of households owned a washing machine ,and this figure gradually increased to 70 % in 1960.However,it then decreased slightly to approximately 60 % in1980.Before rising again to around 70 % in 2000 and 75 % in 2019.The average number of hours of housework per household was about 50 hours.per week in 1920.This figure fell significently to around 35 hours in 1940 and 20 hours in 1960,before falling slightly to 15 hours in 1980. It remained stable until 2000 and then decreased further to only 10 hours in 2019.
