The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

The given line graphs depict changes in the percentage of household with electrical appliances in a country between 1920 and 2019 and shows the number of hours spent in doing housework per week in a household.
Overall, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner followed a consistent upward trajectory and washing machine had certain fluctuations, while the number of hours spent for doing housework showed a marked decline.
On the one hand, no household was equipped with refrigerator, while 30% had a vacuum cleaner in 1920. A dramatic increase was seen 20 years later when almost 50% houses had both the appliances. 90% individuals owned a fridge in 1960, while 70% had a vacuum. The proportion of a refrigerator reached its peak in 1980 and it leveled off till 2019. Same trend was seen in case of vacuum cleaner in 2000. Turning to washing machine 40% houses owned it in 1920. A substantial increase of 20% was seen 20 years later. A slight increase to 70% was seen afterwards, same as the figure of a vacuum in 1960, which fluctuated till 2019.
50 hours were spent doing household chores in 1920 with figures reaching 30% in 1940, which decreased significantly later on, and finally plummeted to 10 hours in 2019.
