The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graphs shows the use of electrical appliances in households and spending of time on housework in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Overall, The use of three electrical apliances increased over the time period.

Refrigerator and vacuum cleaner are the most used items which rose sharply while washing machine fluctuated gradually.

With the invention of electrical machines people spending of time on housework declined speedily.

In 1920 to 1940, The washing machine was the highest used equipment at 60% , Followed by refrigerator at 55% and vacuum cleaner was at the least position with 50% ratio. In 1960 refrigerator ownership climbed up sharply by 35%, Furthermore washing machine and vacuum cleaner rose to 70%.

In 2019 the refrigerator and vacuum cleaner are used widely and reached at peak point and their percentage was 100%. In contrast, washing machine increased after small decline and reached at 72% which was the lowest position in final year.

In 1920 people spent 50 hours per week on house activities which followed downwaed trend and in 1940 the proportion of hours was at 32%. In 1960 people spent 19 hours on cooking, food preparation and cloth washing. In 2019 individuals totally depends on machines and spent no tome on housework and touched the lowest position at 0 %.

In general electrical appliances totally changes the mentality of people and they depend kn these machines.
