The line graphs demonstrate the variation in ownership of electric appliances and time used on housework per week in a country between 1920 to 2019.
Overall, there is an highest increase of refrigerator percentage in households which later became equal to vacuum cleaner. But the percentage of washing machine increase is much less than other two after year 1965 and onwards. Although the number of hours per week has a significant fall all over the time period.
In 1920, washing machine and vacuum clearner has the percentages of about 40 and 30 percent. Vacuum cleaner percentage increase rapidly and end on about 100% in year 2019 but washing machine does not has such case its percentage face rise and fall which lead it to about 75% in the final year. Refrigerator has an paercentage of zero at the start and end on a percentage of 100 percent in year 2019. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the main overall patterns: refrigerator ownership rises sharply, appliance ownership generally increases, and weekly housework time falls. You also include relevant starting and ending figures, such as washing machines at about 40% and 75%, and housework declining from 50 to around 10 hours. However, some important details are missing or imprecise. The refrigerator begins at about 2%, not zero, and reaches 100% by 1980; the vacuum cleaner also reaches 100% by 2000, so they do not first become equal only at the end. The washing-machine trend is not simply a smaller increase after 1965: it dips from 70% to 65% in 1980, then rises. More intermediate comparisons would make the account fuller and clearer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, an overview, and a paragraph with selected figures. This makes the main message easy to locate, and the contrast introduced by “Although” helps signal the fall in housework. However, the final paragraph moves quickly between three appliance series and housework, so comparisons are not developed in a consistently logical sequence. Some linking is also awkward or unclear, particularly “which later became equal to vacuum cleaner” and “which lead it to about 75%,” where the reference of “which” is uncertain. Grouping the appliance trends together and then describing housework, while using clearer links such as “by contrast” and “meanwhile,” would improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “ownership,” “percentage,” “significant fall,” and “approximately,” and the meaning is generally understandable. There is some variety in how trends are described, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural: “time used on housework,” “an highest increase,” and “face rise and fall.” Spelling errors such as “clearner” and “paercentage” also reduce accuracy. Aim for standard chart language, for example “the proportion of households owning,” “rose sharply,” “fluctuated,” and “hours spent doing housework.” More precise vocabulary would also help distinguish a rise from a peak or a plateau, especially when describing the refrigerator and vacuum-cleaner figures.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including the overview sentence beginning “Although,” and most of the information remains understandable. However, some grammatical errors recur in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “washing machine and vacuum cleaner has” should use a plural verb, while “does not has” needs the base form “have.” The opening phrase “between 1920 to 2019” uses the wrong preposition pattern, and “there is an highest increase” has an article error. The sentence beginning “Although” is also incomplete as written. Practise accurate past-tense descriptions and complete clause structures; this will let you use more varied sentences without obscuring comparisons.
