The chart gives information about one kind of machine's ownersheep in households between 1920 and 2019.

Overall, at the beginning of the 1920 refrigator was encreased . Apriximetely in 1940 those three macines like washing machine, refrigator and vacuum cleaner stood converge. In 2019 at the end of the time, two households got more popular and useful such as washing machine and vacuum cleaner.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify the broad subject and include both appliance ownership and housework, but the main features are reported only partially and some descriptions do not match the chart. For example, refrigerators did not increase at the beginning of the period; they rose sharply from about 2% in 1920 to 55% in 1940. The appliances did not converge in 1940 either: their figures were approximately 60%, 55% and 50%. Your statement that washing-machine ownership decreased after 1960 captures a brief dip, but it later rose again. The overview also misses the clearest overall pattern: appliance ownership generally increased, while housework hours fell substantially. Select these key trends and support them with accurate comparisons.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has separate paragraphs and attempts to organise information by giving an overview before adding details. However, the progression is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or placed unclearly. The claim that the machines “stood converge” appears in both the overview and the next paragraph, while “In the first quarter of the 1940” does not clearly identify a meaningful period in the chart. Connections such as “In contrast” and “however” are attempted, but the relationships between the points are not always clear. Group the appliance trends together in a logical sequence, then describe the decline in housework hours in a separate paragraph. Use linking phrases only where they accurately show a comparison or change.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant chart vocabulary, including “increased,” “decrease,” “sharply,” and “considerable,” so the reader can recognise the general topic and direction of change. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts of the report difficult to interpret. “Ownersheep” is not an appropriate term for the proportion of households with appliances, and “stood converge” does not express the intended comparison naturally. There are also repeated misspellings, including “refrigator,” “macines,” and “begining.” Aim for precise terms such as “ownership,” “accounted for,” “rose,” and “fell,” and check spelling carefully. Avoid describing household appliances as “useful” unless that evaluation is relevant to the data.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “In contrast” and a sentence beginning “At the beginning.” However, control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning unclear. For example, “refrigator was encreased” uses an incorrect passive form, while “those three machine stood” has problems with number agreement and sentence construction. In “the lowest point reached in 1980,” the verb phrase is incomplete; write “the figure reached its lowest point in 1980.” Punctuation and spacing are also uneven, as in “In contrast ,that time.” Practise accurate past-tense descriptions and complete clauses before adding more complex structures.
