Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary era, there are growing concern regarding the way films have been watching. Some believe that it is better to watch shows at home because of the avilability of mobiles and large screen gadgets. However, watching a movie in theatre provides a good source of entertainment. After close scrutiny of these both views, I will take middleground.
one of the reason is that, nowadays everyone have mobiles and tables which are came with numerous features. By this, I mean that technological advancement brings a plethora of ways in which people can download movies in minutes. As, this is also cheaper option, people do not want to spend their hard earned money in the movies which has nothing to show in. As a result, watching a movie in their own device is become more popular.
On the other hand, some believe that the comfort and facility is far better than watching movie in mobiles and tables ehich have very small screen. They have also taking about the large screen and heavy speaker and 3D visuals. some people are going to watch movie in cinema for only show off. This view exists as they only spend extra on tickets and click the pictures of the cinema just to post on their social media account. Therefore, they do not care about money as they have not aware about even the ratings of the movie. As far as my opinion goes, people spend their money wisely. If movie has block buster and popular then it would be good to see it in cinema rather than watching in your devices and vice versa if it is not.
All in all, down the lane, people become aware about their situation and passion. It is strongly recommendetion that more and more people use their own brain to select whether to watch movie at home or theatre.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a personal position: you explain the convenience and lower cost of watching films on personal devices, then contrast this with cinema screens, sound and 3D effects. Your conditional opinion—that popular blockbusters are worth seeing at the cinema, while other films can be watched at home—is relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The point that some people go to the cinema to show off shifts attention away from why cinema viewing may be more enjoyable, and the claim that people should “spend their money wisely” is not clearly supported. Develop each side with a direct reason and a specific example, and state your position more clearly in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “On the other hand,” “As a result,” and “Therefore” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within the second body paragraph is uneven: the discussion moves from cinema’s technical advantages to social-media show-off behaviour, then to your own view, without clearly linking these points. Some transitions also feel mechanical, and references such as “these both views” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain it, and then give an example; use linking phrases only where they clarify the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “technological advancement,” “plethora,” “hard earned money,” “large screen,” and “3D visuals.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic vocabulary. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “the way films have been watching,” “tables,” “ehich,” and “recommendetion” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “a good source of entertainment” and “has nothing to show in.” Aim for precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “tablets,” “cinema experience,” and “a film worth seeing” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If movie has block buster and popular then it would be good to see it in cinema.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur throughout. Examples include “there are growing concern,” “everyone have,” “which are came,” and “watching a movie in their own device is become more popular.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then extend them with subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms and articles, for example: “everyone has a mobile” and “watching films on personal devices has become more popular.”
