Student answer (Band 6.0)
Despite the fact that watching movies is theatre would be the greatest expierence. Although, some people argue that seeing film on gadgets is more convenient rather than going out. This essay will discuss both views and the later my opinion.
On one hand, it is undeniabale that watching movies in cinema is more enjoyable because it has enormous screen with massive sound system which make any flim worth watching. Moreover, flims like frictional and horror are worth wathing in cinema as it has realistic way of representation that one can believe it happening in real. For intsance, movies like marvels which has sci-fi visuals, 2D or 3D effects are only good to see on big screens rather than phone ot T.v. Addition to that, the main purpose people go out to watch flim is thay they can meet their friends who has same taste for movies and able to enjoy together.
On the other hand, many people choose to see movies on the electronic gadgets as it save time and money. As it says movie halls have expensive tickets with overcharged foods such as popcorns and soda which cost more than the actual price which can afford specially for the middle class people. Other primary reason is overcrowd, lot of cinemas is filled with large group of people which can be dreadfull as every individual want private space to enjoy the movie with considerate amount of time they want to spend. To illustate, old people who cannot walk, chhose to see films on their phone.
To sum up, watching flims whether on personal gadgets or multi-screen has its own pros and cons. Nevetheless, I believe watching movies on big cinema would be more enjoyable and relaxing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and give a clear preference for cinema, especially in the conclusion: “I believe watching movies on big cinema would be more enjoyable and relaxing.” The cinema paragraph offers relevant reasons, including the large screen, sound effects and shared viewing, while the opposing view is supported by cost, crowds and accessibility for older people. This covers the task well and shows some development. To make the response more complete, explain a few points more precisely: for example, clarify how watching at home saves time, and develop the example of older people rather than leaving it as a brief assertion. Your position is present, but stating it more clearly in the introduction and maintaining that clarity throughout would strengthen the response further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion. “On one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, and the ideas within each paragraph generally relate to its main point. However, some linking is mechanical or awkward, such as “Addition to that” and “To sum up,” and the opening sentence does not lead smoothly into the essay’s purpose. Some references are also unclear: “as it has realistic way of representation” could refer to cinema or films, and “which can be dreadful” follows a sentence with several possible referents. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make the connection between each reason and its example explicit to improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “massive sound system,” “3D effects,” “overcrowd” and “private space.” These choices show an effort to discuss cinema, technology and audience experience, but control is uneven. Frequent spelling errors—such as “expierence,” “undeniabale,” “wathing” and “Nevertheles”—and inaccurate or unnatural combinations sometimes make the reader pause. For instance, “frictional” does not clearly describe a film genre, and “multi-screen” is not a natural way to refer to cinema in this context. Aim for accurate, familiar collocations before using less common expressions, and proofread spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you express the relevant ideas without changing their meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple sentences and attempts at complex structures, including “Although, some people argue…” and the clauses beginning “because” and “as.” This gives the response some variety, and the main message is generally understandable. However, several sentences contain errors in agreement, articles, verb forms or sentence construction. For example, “which make any film worth watching” needs a singular verb, while “as it save time and money” needs an agreeing verb. The opening fragment, “Despite the fact that watching movies is theatre would be the greatest experience,” is also difficult to follow, and “Although” is incorrectly punctuated as a standalone opening. Review subject–verb agreement and build complex sentences around a clear main clause; this will make your ideas easier to read.
