Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is believed by some people that now there is not no Cinema are no longer needed because of cells phones and tablets. They can enjoy any movie at home But Others believe that theaters are better option. I will discuss both view and explain why I feel watching movie at home is more peaceful.
To Commence with, There are some reasons why people feel theaters are more comfortable to watch movie. The first one is bigger screens. To elaborate, Theaters bigger screen helps people to have more interest in movie. For example, people watching movie at phones may not feel that thrill, emotions in movie which they can watch in Cinema. Another one is that people at Cinema may enjoy more because they may face trouble to concentrate. For example, if someone at home has kids or elder people who are not interested in watching movie, they may disturb them while watching movie. Moreover, a person can have a movie at Cinema make him feel more updated. Because some movie may take time to released on cell phones.
On the other hand, some people including me, believe that watching movie at home is good option rather than in Cinema. First and Foremost one is people can pause, scroll backfoward or forward a movie at cell phone which is not possible in cinema. For example, people can skip any scene or song during watching the movie, they which they can not like. Furthermore, at home a person can watch any movie at any time. To elaborate, we can only watch the movies that are displayed on screens in cinema but at home we have access over all the available movies. Addition to this, platforms like Netflix make people more comfartable at home for watching movies.
In conclusion, many people think Cinema is best to watch movie but in my opinion at home people have more option and access over the control which makes a movie more interested.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the immersive experience of cinemas versus the convenience of home viewing. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about cinemas making one feel 'updated' is vague and could have been better explained. While the position is clear throughout, the supporting arguments would benefit from more depth and specific examples to reach a higher band. The conclusion is a bit brief and merely restates the opinion without summarizing the main points effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Another one is that' or 'Addition to this'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, for example, 'they which they can not like' in the third paragraph is confusing. While the progression of ideas is generally logical, the use of cohesive devices could be more natural and varied to improve the flow between sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'thrill', 'concentrate', and 'platforms'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'cells phones', 'backfoward', and 'make a movie more interested' (should be 'interesting'). Spelling errors like 'comfartable' also occur. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'It is believed by some people that now there is not no Cinema are no longer needed', which contains redundant negatives and subject-verb agreement issues. Other errors include 'Theaters bigger screen' (missing possessive) and 'some movie may take time to released' (incorrect verb form). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and suggest a lack of control over complex structures. More attention to basic grammar rules and sentence construction is needed.
