Student answer (Band 6.0)
People are arguing whether they watch movies on phones or in cinema. One group of people believe that mobile phones and tablets are good sources to enjoy movies while other believe theaters are best place to see it. Before commenting my opinion, this essay will discuss both the viewpoints in the ensuing paragraphs.
On the former viewpoint, people who agrees on watching movies on cellphones and tablets have following reasons. First and foremost is that it is conveninent. People can enjoy anytime and anywhere with the friends and families from the electric devices. Secondly, no reliance on getting movie tickets. They do not have to stand in long queues for it. Additionaly, nowadays mostly movies are streaming on online platforms such as Netflix, Amazon prime video, Hostar and so on. It gives people more time to relax and staying at home.
However, I can not overlooked the enjoyment of the movies seen on the big screens as it gives unforgettable experience. To commence with, it offers a excellent sound quality and the clarity.. Moreover, citizens can also see films on 2D, 3D and multidimentional screen which gives them to mesmerizing memories. Lastly, on certain holidays people are getting discounts or voucher on the tickets and they can watch movies cost free.
To conclude and offer my position I support later viewpoint. Although, watching movies from the mobile phone and tablet is convenient for people but the experience getting from the big screen has is unforgettable also it offers excellent sound system and unforgettable experience to people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both viewpoints and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the arguments for watching movies on mobile devices are brief, and the points regarding cinema experiences, such as 'multidimentional screen' and 'cost free' tickets, are slightly underdeveloped or lack logical depth. While the task is fully addressed, the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly explored to reach a higher band. The position is consistent throughout the essay, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First and foremost', 'Secondly', and 'To commence with', though some transitions feel a bit mechanical or repetitive. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints. However, there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother, and some referencing is slightly awkward, such as 'I support later viewpoint'. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the structure is sufficient for a Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'streaming', 'online platforms', and 'sound quality'. However, there are several spelling errors ('conveninent', 'Additionaly', 'multidimentional') and some awkward collocations ('getting discounts or voucher on the tickets'). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the message, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band. The errors do not impede communication, placing this in the Band 6.0 range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('people who agrees', 'other believe') and missing articles or incorrect verb forms ('I can not overlooked', 'the experience getting from the big screen has is'). While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding the intended meaning. The control of punctuation is generally acceptable, but the frequency of grammatical slips limits the score to a 5.5.
