Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays , due to development in techinical sector everybody has a access to see movies on their mobile phones , television and laptop rather than cinema , yet some people consider cinema more enjoyable and better option than smart gadgets . As per my perspective , I vote for the second notion as it has several advantages as compared to the former stated trend.
On the one hand , time saving is one of the main potential of former statement . To explicate it , in today's era everybody have a busy schedule and because of that they do not get a time for family to watch movie in cinema halls, by the developed source of technology individuals have a access to watch movies at house with their family. Moreover, watching films by smart phones and televisions is less expensive than the cinemas. Secondly, watching movies at house by smart phones provide more comfortability and privacy to person instead of in the theatres.
On the other hand, a plethora of advantages are also observed by going the cinema which cannot be overlooked. The primary one is, by the facilities of large screen, good quality of sound and best food services the cinema help to get better experiance than smart phones and laptops. Moreover, it also help to make good memories with friends and family. A Despite having personal benefits the places like cinema for individual

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the convenience of home viewing versus the immersive experience of the cinema. However, the development of these points is somewhat uneven. While the economic argument regarding the cinema industry is a good attempt at supporting the position, the explanation is occasionally disjointed and lacks clarity in its phrasing. The conclusion effectively summarizes the stance, but the overall development could be more sophisticated to reach a higher band. The response is well-structured in terms of task requirements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'by the developed source of technology'. Additionally, there are instances where the flow is interrupted by grammatical errors or unclear phrasing, particularly in the section discussing the economy. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints, which helps the overall readability of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it is somewhat limited and occasionally imprecise. There are instances of awkward word choices, such as 'technical sector' instead of 'technology' and 'comfortability' instead of 'comfort'. Some collocations are also non-standard, such as 'risk the country's GDP'. While the student attempts to use more complex vocabulary, the errors in word choice and spelling (e.g., 'mabile', 'fevour', 'experiance') are noticeable. To improve, the student should focus on using more natural collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of common academic terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'everybody have a busy schedule'), article usage ('a access'), and awkward phrasing that obscures meaning. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. While the meaning is generally clear despite these errors, the frequency of mistakes prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading to eliminate these recurring errors.
