Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the points regarding 'convenience' and 'social experience' are mentioned but not fully extended with specific examples or deeper analysis. The essay structure is present, but the arguments remain somewhat superficial. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and concrete examples to support your claims, ensuring that the discussion is balanced and fully explored.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is very limited and often mechanical. There is a lack of linking words between sentences, and some transitions are abrupt (e.g., 'means reason can be movies update'). The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall flow is hindered by the lack of sophisticated connectors. Improving the use of transition signals such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in contrast' would significantly improve the logical progression of your ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with several spelling errors (e.g., 'gagget', 'upconing', 'peragraphs', 'waist'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range is limited, and there is a reliance on simple, everyday language. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'stuck on particular time' and 'pictureijaction'. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to media and entertainment and pay closer attention to spelling and accurate word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentences, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'those people likes'), missing articles, and incorrect word order. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with many sentences lacking proper capitalization or containing run-on structures. These errors are frequent and occasionally make the text difficult to read. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and consistent punctuation to improve your accuracy.
