Student answer (Band 6.0)
People have different view about whether movies should be watch on phone or tablets or individuals should go to cinema. While some people believe that watching films through electronics devices is a good option while other argue that it is better to go to cinema to enjoy them. In my view, folks should go out when they have some leisure time to enjoy films with their friends and family.
First and foremost reason why people think watching films at home with their phones and tablet is better than going out with their loved ones for watching new movies in cinema because it takes too much time . For instance, if you would like to go out for movies means you also need to wear some good cloths and than drive to cinema also time consuming. Moreover, people do not like to spend their precious money to watch movie in cinema which they can enjoy at home for free without spending money on food and ticket prices.
On the other hand, going out for enjoying films also acts as stress buster for individuals as they also busy in doing their daily hardships which cause they get to stressed .So, it give them some sort of joy and reduce work burden. For example, most of the people may enjoy more while watching movies in cinema than at home and feel more happy. Apart from this, they also get some time to spend with their family and friends when they go out with them for movies. This helps them to maintain good relationship with them.
In conclusion, although watching movie on electronics device is more convenient , less time and wealth taken, sometime people should go to cinema as well with their closed one for better bonding and for enjoying their life in this stressful world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the convenience of home viewing versus the social and stress-relieving benefits of the cinema. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'stress busters' is a strong point but could have been expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The position is consistent throughout the essay, and the conclusion effectively summarizes the main points. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more depth and nuance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central topic. There is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First and foremost', 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally slightly awkward, such as in the phrase 'which cause they get to stressed'. While the structure is coherent, the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'leisure time', 'precious money', and 'stress buster'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'wealth taken' instead of 'cost-effective' or 'time-consuming', and 'cloths' instead of 'clothes'. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the message, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band. Focusing on collocations and more sophisticated synonyms would significantly enhance the quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include 'movies should be watch' (should be watched), 'cause they get to stressed' (cause them to get stressed), and 'less time and wealth taken'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing commas and awkward phrasing. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall fluency and accuracy of the text.
