Movies is one of the best way of entertainment nowadays. while, many individuals prefer to watch movies on a different gadgets rather than going to theater. Where, many people prefer to go outside and watch movies in a theater. My inclination is elaborated in ensuing paragraph followed by opinion.

On the one hand, people love to watch movies while seating at a home. Because many individuals believe that it is more relaxing to watch movie at home rather than cinema. In addition, we have to dress-well for going outside so it is comfortable to seat at home and enjoy quality time with family while watching movie. However, it also save many moneys including pop-corns, tickets, fuel and many more. In addition , there are lots of digital platforms are available in television nowadays where we can watch any movie that we want to see. For example, my father do not prefer to watch movies in a cinema because he believes that in a television we can have a variety of movies to watch.

On the other hand, many movie lovers always prefer to watch movies in a theater. Furthermore, they used to believe that sound system and visuals that we have in theater can not get in a mobile or computers including 3D effect, high quality of voice. Although they do not want any kind of disturbance while watching the movies which can be possible at home. To illustrate, one of my friend always prefer to go to theater because she believe there are lots of disturbance make her disappointed while watching movie.

To conclude, many people prefer to watch movie at home rather than going outside. In contrast, many humans believe to watch in theatre. In my point of view, we should watch movie at home so that we can comfortably balance both family time and entertainment time together. Additionally, we can skip the part which bother us while watching such as many long songs, intimate scenes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'saving money' is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples. The conclusion introduces new ideas, such as skipping 'intimate scenes', which should have been integrated into the body paragraphs to support the main argument. While the task is addressed, the supporting points lack depth and the overall structure of the argument could be more cohesive to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive feature. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the use of 'Where,' at the start of a sentence is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow. Transitions like 'In addition' and 'On the other hand' are used, but the logical progression between sentences is sometimes weak. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the paragraphing, while present, does not always effectively group related ideas, leading to a somewhat disjointed reading experience.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is frequent repetition of basic words like 'movies', 'watch', and 'people'. Some word choices are unnatural, such as 'many moneys' instead of 'a lot of money' or 'different gadgets' when referring to phones/tablets. There are also errors in collocation, such as 'make her disappointed' instead of 'causes her disappointment'. To improve, the student should focus on using more varied and precise vocabulary related to the topic of entertainment and technology.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Movies is', 'my father do not'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'many humans believe to watch'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary commas and spacing issues. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors prevents the essay from achieving a higher score. More attention to sentence construction and proofreading is necessary.
