Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many citizens believe that movies can be seen on smart mobile phones or tablets rather than visiting the cinema while others tells that to be get fully entertain people needs to visit theatre. In this essay I will discuss both the views and I will provide relevant examples.
On the one hand, due to Innovations in the technological Industry, it is now possible to watch movies on the mobile phone or tablets. Therefore, people are avoiding visiting cinemas nowadays and enjoy quality time with their loved ones. Many director or producer relesed their movies on online platform such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount and many more. More and more citizens are buying subscriptions of these OTT platforms is the another major proof that people are shifting on smart electronics devices to watch movies.
On the other hand, there are few individuals who believes that theatre provide full entertainment to them that is why they are visiting cinemas.
Movie theatre has big screen, sound system, comfortable seating provides best experience to watch a movie. There are certain movies that has to be seen in theatre rather than watching in small screens for example, Fast and Furious, Spider-Man, etc,. These movies are fully action based and it has to be seen in theatre to have best experience on that type of movies.
In my opinion, Mostly great movies are released on OTT platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime) rather than in theatres. I believe that watching at your comfortplace like home is the best feeling ever while there are few movies which includes thrilling and actions those type movies can be seen in theatres.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the convenience of streaming and the immersive experience of cinemas, the arguments lack depth and specific supporting evidence. For instance, the mention of 'Fast and Furious' is a good start, but it is not fully explained why such films specifically require a cinema setting beyond the mention of 'action'. To improve, ensure that each point is expanded with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples to fully satisfy the requirements of a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Therefore', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally imprecise. For example, in the second paragraph, the phrase 'is the another major proof' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'OTT platforms', 'subscriptions', and 'innovations'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'others tells that' instead of 'others say' and 'comfortplace' which is not a standard term. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing. Expanding your range of vocabulary to include more precise academic or formal descriptors will help convey your arguments with greater nuance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('others tells', 'theatre provide', 'movies that has'), missing articles ('in theatre'), and awkward phrasing ('to be get fully entertain'). These errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede communication. To improve, pay closer attention to verb forms, pluralization, and article usage. Incorporating a wider variety of complex sentence structures with greater accuracy will be essential for achieving a higher score.
