Student answer (Band 5.5)
People have distinct views whether people prefer to watch movie on internet or cinema. Although most of the people tend to watch movie on phones or computers, i believe that cinema is best to enjoy fully movie.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some masses opine that watching film on internet is easiest rather than going cinema. First and the foremost, some masses like to watch movie on phones because nowadays everyone have own phone so they can easily watch it while sitting at home which put positive impact not only to save number of money but also time because they have no need to travel for watching movie and buy tickets. Moreover, people can watch movie without any distractions because they can watch films while siting at alone but it is impossible if they go cinema.
On the other hand, according to my perspective, cinema has own importance to watch films due to certain reasons. Firstly. people can get an opportunity to watch movie from very closely which is impossible to watch on internet. Along with this, they can spend time with loved ones while going cinema and they can learn about like or dislike the partners. In contrast, when they prefer to watch movie on internet, it can less interest to watch it and bad affect on eyesight. Furthermore, people have no chance to meet with other people that is why they can deprived to learn moral skills such as communication and patience.
To conclude, while internet is very popular to watch movies instead of going cinema, i opine that going cinema is best option to enjoy the movie.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on watching films at home versus in the cinema, and a clear personal position is presented in the introduction and conclusion ('i believe that cinema is best to enjoy fully movie'). Ideas are relevant, such as cost savings and convenience for home viewing, and sensory experience and social connection for cinema viewing. However, the development of these ideas tends to be repetitive and slightly superficial. For instance, the discussion on cinema benefits mentions watching 'very closely' and learning about 'partners', which are somewhat limited in development. Despite these minor underdeveloped points, the task is addressed adequately, placing it firmly at a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure, including an introduction, body paragraphs addressing each viewpoint, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal progression, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'Firstly', and 'To conclude'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, sentences like 'First and the foremost, some masses like to watch movie on phones because nowadays everyone have own phone' exhibit awkward links, and punctuation errors (such as 'Firstly.' with a full stop instead of a comma) disrupt the flow. Paragraphing is present, but the internal logical progression within paragraphs sometimes stumbles, leading to a Band 6.0 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the student to communicate their ideas about films, cinemas, and internet streaming. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items and phrases, such as 'opine', 'distractions', and 'communication and patience'. However, there are noticeable lexical inaccuracies, inappropriate word choices, and collocation errors, such as 'save number of money' instead of 'save a significant amount of money', 'siting at alone' instead of 'sitting alone', and 'can less interest' instead of 'diminish interest'. Spelling is generally acceptable, but the overall lack of precision and frequent word-formation errors restrict the lexical score to a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing dependent clauses and conditional elements (e.g., 'Although most of the people tend to watch movie on phones or computers, i believe...'). However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Notable errors include subject-verb agreement issues ('everyone have own phone', 'cinema has own importance'), missing articles ('going cinema'), incorrect verb forms ('can deprived to learn'), and lowercase 'i'. Because the complex structures attempted are frequently faulty and errors are recurrent throughout the text, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
