IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

To Begin with, these days many individuals believing watching movies are not difficult because of the smart gadgets like phone and tablet we can easily watch the movie where ever we are rather than a movie theatre as it it no need to go there to watch the movie. However, some think that if we really want to enjoy the movie then it should be watched in movie theatres. we cannot enjoy watching movies in smart phones and tablets.

Firstly, watching movies on smart phones we cannot fully enjoy like an example if the scenes is outstanding we cannot shout and laugh because people will laugh on us by seeing this. Nevertheless, we cannot watch the movie with our friends or with our family. However, we fully cant feel the movie by seeing alone,

Secondly, if we are watching movie in a theatre then what ever situation we can react on the basis of the scenes comes in a movie, Moreover, we can hang out with our friends and will get a chance to spend a time with them weather it may our friends or family. Moreover, we can feel the movie scenes which is coming on screen we can laugh and we can tease any of our friend or family member with whom we are watching

To conclude,

I strongly believe that watching movies on phone and in theatre both are equal in their own places as if we cannot watch the romantic scenes with our family or friends and also if we watch in theatre we can fully enjoy the moment and also we can feel scenes
