Student answer (Band 5.0)
WATCHING FILMS IS NOT THE ART OR CREATIVITY. PEOPLE WATCH FILMS TO AMUSE OR RELAX THEMSELVES.
WHEN WE TALK ABOUT SOURCE TO WATCH FILM WE SHOULD SAY THAT IT MUST DEPENDS ON OUR FEASIBILITY OR SCENARIO WHAT WE PREFER. ITS ANOTHER THING WATCHING FILMS ON PHONE OR TABLET LOOKS MORE COMFORTABLE THAT WE CAN ALSO FOCUS ON OTHER THINGS LIKE COOKING, DOING OUR ROUTEIN WORKS ETC. AND ITS ALSO COST EFFECTIVE WAY. SO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMFORTABLE IN SMALL SCREENS, CHEAP COST CAN USE THIS WAY.
ON THE OTHERHAND WATCHING FILMS IN CINEMA OR FOCUSES ENVIRONMENT WHERE WE DONT WANT TO DISTRACT OURSELVES IS ANOTHER WAY TO AMUSE OURSELVES. BY THE WAY ITS A CHOICE EITHER WHAT WE PREFER. SO THE PEOPLE WHO SAY FILMS NEED TO BE SEEN IN CINEMA I FULLY AGREE WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE CHOOSING FOCUSED OR PREFERRED ENVIRONMENT WITH ZERO DISTRACTION. IN CENIMA YOU CAN GET PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS, OR LARGE SCREEN OR FULL SETUP TO ENJOY OR WATCH MOVIE OR ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND IN FULL WAY.
BUT IN MY OPINION IF YOU ARE BUSINESSMAN YOU PRIORITY SHOULD ALWAYS BE TO SAVE YOUR TIME AND USE IT EFFECTIVELY YOU CAN USE TABLET TO WATCH FILM OR IF YOU HAVE NOHING TO DO IN LIFE OR HAVE EXTRA MONEY YOU CAN GO TO CINEMA BUY PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS AND ENJOY LARGE SCREEENS.
IN TODAY WORLD CINEMAS ARE TOO ADVANCED AUGMENTED REALTITY TECHNOLOGY INFLUENCED THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF WATCHING FILM IN CINEMA YOU CANNOT EXPERIENCE WATCHING FILM IN PHONE OR TABLET.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views: watching on a phone or tablet is presented as convenient and inexpensive, while the cinema offers a focused setting and a larger screen. Your own preference is also stated, particularly when you say you agree with people who favour cinema. However, the position becomes less clear in the final paragraph, where you recommend a tablet for a busy businessperson but describe cinema as an option for someone with spare money. These points do not fully explain which experience you consider better overall. Some supporting claims, such as the reference to augmented reality, are introduced without explaining how they affect the comparison. Develop each view with a specific example and make your final opinion consistent and explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, and phrases such as “On the other hand” signal a shift from the convenience of home viewing to the cinema experience. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, progression between ideas is often unclear: the final paragraph moves from businesspeople and time-saving to people with extra money, then to augmented reality, without showing how these points connect to your overall argument. Several sentences also combine multiple ideas with repeated “and” or “or,” making relationships difficult to follow. Use one main point per paragraph, link each supporting example directly to that point, and conclude by restating a clear, balanced opinion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “cost effective,” “zero distraction,” “large screen,” and “augmented reality.” These expressions show an attempt to discuss both practical benefits and the cinema experience. However, word choice and spelling errors are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to interpret, as in “feasibility,” “focused environment,” “premium subscriptions,” and “in full way.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “source to watch film” and “routein works.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for convenience, immersion, and viewing conditions would help you express your comparisons clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional structure beginning “if you are businessman.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries can make meaning hard to follow. For example, “it must depends on our feasibility” has an incorrect verb form, while “your priority should always be to save your time” shifts awkwardly between the reader and the general argument. Several sentences are fragments or run-ons, particularly the opening and the final paragraph. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check articles and agreement. Use punctuation to separate connected ideas rather than joining them all together.
