Watching films on our phones and tablets have a lot of advantages. It enables one to watch films at the convenient of their homes and when they choose. For example, you enjoy watching your films while you are travelling. So it gives you relaxation while you are on a trip. It takes boredom away from the trip. For example, the cinema gives you the opportunity to bond with friends and family members as it enhances interaction while the film is going on. And also, the cinema has a bigger screen which makes the film more enjoyable and understandable

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You introduce both views and give a concluding position that “both views are correct,” with relevant points about convenience, travel, social interaction and the cinema’s larger screen. However, the discussion is only partial: the cinema argument is mainly about bonding and screen size, while the benefits of watching at home are not compared in much depth, and your own preference remains unclear. The examples are brief and some claims, such as films being “understandable” on a bigger screen, need explanation. The response is also below the required minimum: it contains 230 words, 20 short; 32 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each side with a specific example and state which option you personally prefer, and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main topic. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and several ideas repeat rather than build—for example, convenience and choosing when to watch are stated more than once, as are interaction and bonding. Some linking is inaccurate or abrupt: “In other hand” does not correctly introduce the contrast, and beginning a sentence with “And also” makes the connection feel mechanical. The conclusion repeats earlier points instead of bringing them together into a clear final judgement. Use a wider range of accurate transitions and organise each paragraph around one main claim followed by explanation and an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “films,” “cinema,” “screen,” “travelling” and “interaction.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, which makes some phrases awkward: “at the convenient of their homes,” “In other hand,” and “watching films from your phone and tablets.” There are also spelling slips, such as “oown,” and repeated use of “watch,” “films” and “opportunity.” These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but more precise phrasing would make it clearer and more natural. Practise common collocations for convenience, entertainment and the cinema, and proofread for spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Your response uses mostly simple sentence patterns, with some attempts to connect ideas using clauses such as “as it is convenient to you.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences awkward. For example, “Watching films on our phones and tablets have” has a subject–verb agreement error; “enables you ton interact” contains an incorrect verb form; and “seen in cinema” is missing an article. The sentence beginning “In conclusion” also shifts into a lower-case “it” after a full stop, and the final section contains a long run-on sequence of ideas. Work on agreement, articles and sentence boundaries, then practise combining ideas accurately using a variety of sentence structures.
