Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views by contrasting the convenience and lower cost of watching films on a phone or tablet with the social enjoyment of going to a cinema. Your personal example about colleagues arranging lunch and a cinema visit is relevant, and your final point that priorities change suggests a personal position. However, the discussion is only partial: the advantages of home viewing are briefly stated, while the cinema view is mainly illustrated through one outing rather than explained in general terms. Your opinion is also not clearly stated or maintained; the reader has to infer it from the example. Develop each view with a reason and a specific explanation, then state directly which option you prefer and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some organisation: you move from the convenience of personal devices to the social experience of cinemas, then give a personal example. This gives the response a basic overall direction. However, ideas are crowded into long, loosely connected stretches, and paragraphing does not clearly separate the two views, your opinion, and the example. Linking words such as “so,” “but,” and “when” are repeated or used without making the relationship between ideas clear. For example, the shift from “when u alone” to “when u are in gathering” could be presented as a clear contrast. Use distinct paragraphs and connect each main point to its explanation with precise transitions and clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “phone and tablets,” “cinema,” “save your money,” and “popcorns,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, such as “washing movies,” “transfer the thing using dc,” and “enjoy the meanl.” Repetition of “enjoy,” “fun,” and “things” also limits precision. Spelling errors, including “centuery,” “happoines,” and “diferent,” further make the writing harder to follow. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling; for example, describe watching films at home as convenient and cinema viewing as an immersive or shared experience.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “when u are in gathering friends and family member are with you then u enjoy alot,” and you use time clauses and contrasts. However, sentence structures are limited and frequently faulty, which sometimes makes relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Errors include “we are enter in new” and “technology are going fast,” where verb forms and subject–verb agreement are not controlled, as well as missing or incorrect articles and plural forms in “friends and family member.” Punctuation is also weak: several sentences run together, with inconsistent capitalisation and comma use. Practise forming complete sentences with one main idea, then check verb agreement, tense, articles, and sentence boundaries.
