Consuming digital content on smart phones or tablets is becoming increasingly popular nowadays. Some individuals prefer to watch movies on those devices without the to go to cinema. Whereas, others believe that going to movie theatre is equally important. This essay will discuss both views and my opinion will be given at the end.

Internet has brought entire world togather in a small screen. Some people prefer to consume cinema through mobile phone because of the availablity of collections from all aroung the world. Moreover, they can watch them in any language they want at the comfort of their home. Additionally, it is a great activity for those who does not like to go out much including introverts.

On the other hand, there are people who think experiencing films in the cinema is too enjoyable. While watching movies in the cinema, Individuals like aspects of cinema such as very large screen and the sound system. One of my friends always says, How can you enjoy watching your favourite actor without a big screen and housefull shows? Some movies are made to be watched in perticular cinema formats to enjoy their best production quality, for instance IMAX. Although these screenings are expensive, it is worth the experience.

To conclude, I would like to state that watching flims and web shows has always been my favourite hobby. I too enjoy watching a huge amount of digital content on my phone while laying on my bed. However, the cinephile inside me would never be happy if I dont go to the cinema. I believe it gives you an emmersive experience as well as audience that cheers and makes the movie even more enjoyable. So, films should be seen in cinema.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The response addresses both views and gives a clear personal position: you explain the convenience and choice available on phones, then describe the cinema’s screen, sound and communal atmosphere, before concluding that cinema is preferable for a more immersive experience. The IMAX example and your personal preference help make the discussion relevant. This meets the task well, and the position is clear, but the two sides are not developed equally: the phone-view paragraph mainly lists benefits, while the cinema paragraph explains more fully why the experience matters. The opening also promises that your opinion will come “at the end,” although your view could be signalled earlier. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each advantage and make the comparison more explicit throughout, rather than relying mainly on the conclusion to establish your preference.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that returns to your opinion. The progression from convenience to the cinema experience is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “To conclude” help readers navigate the argument. Some linking is a little mechanical, however: “Moreover” and “Additionally” introduce a sequence of similar points without showing how they relate, and the opening says the opinion will appear only at the end. There is also a punctuation break in “too enjoyable. While watching,” which interrupts the flow. For stronger cohesion, vary the links, use pronouns or references to connect ideas, and make the relationship between each example and its main point more explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “digital content,” “collections,” “production quality,” “IMAX,” and “immersive experience.” These choices allow you to discuss both home viewing and cinema in relevant terms, and the meaning is generally clear. There are, however, several spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural expressions, such as “togather,” “availablity,” “all aroung,” “perticular,” and “a huge amount of digital content.” “Consume cinema” and “housefull shows” are also not natural choices in these contexts. This fits a response with sufficient vocabulary but some inaccurate word choice and spelling. Improve precision by learning common collocations for film viewing and checking spelling carefully; this will make the argument sound more fluent and appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex forms, including a contrast clause beginning “Although these screenings are expensive” and a relative clause in “those who does not like to go out.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “without the to go to cinema” has an incorrect construction, “those who does not” has subject–verb disagreement, and “While watching movies in the cinema, Individuals like aspects” has an awkwardly formed sentence and incorrect capitalisation. The sentence beginning “Some individuals prefer…” is also left as a fragment after “Whereas.” These issues explain why control is not yet consistent. Practise complete sentence structures, agreement, articles and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
