Student answer (Band 5.5)
As there are enormous ways of entertainment, it is deeply debated matter to watch movies either in personal digital devices or in multiscreen theaters. As per my preseption, it is totally depends on the genre of the movie and choice of individual too. If the movies have a real plot that really needs to be feel then it definitely would be enjoyed in theater otherwise phones can also satisfy the comfortable money saving experience.
There are numerous online platforms, applications and free websites are available to provide the same movies little later than the original movie release date. With the help of the technology, you can make watching experience
as same as in theater. For example, there are many portable projectors available in the market which can direct connect to mobile content source through screening and sound system. People can have the best experience with however they want to seat or sleep and whatever to eat while watching. Additionally, They can watch movies as per their convenience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both options and give a personal view, especially in the opening claim that the choice depends on the film’s genre and the viewer. The cinema paragraph also gives relevant reasons, such as the large screen, ambience and shared reactions. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the advantages of watching at home focus mainly on convenience, while the cinema argument is asserted rather than supported with a specific example. Your conclusion begins to restate your view but ends abruptly at “only for to be watch in ci…”, so the final position is not fully communicated. Develop each side with a clear reason and example, then finish with a complete, direct conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph about home viewing, one about cinemas and a concluding paragraph. Linking expressions such as “For example,” “Additionally” and “On contrary” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is uneven, and some connections are unclear or mechanical. The projector example shifts the focus from watching on a phone or tablet to using extra equipment, while “All and all” introduces a conclusion that is cut off. Some references, such as “these free and comfortable option,” are difficult to follow. Keep each paragraph focused on its main comparison, use accurate transitions, and ensure the conclusion completes the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “portable projectors,” “ambience,” “disturbance” and “convenience,” and these choices show an effort to express more than basic ideas. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning harder to understand. Examples include “deeply debated matter,” “real plot that really needs to be feel,” “same groups of followers” and “comfortable money saving experience.” There are also spelling errors such as “preseption,” “possibe” and “neccessory.” Aim for natural combinations and check spelling; precise, familiar wording is more effective than an ambitious phrase used inaccurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “If the movies have a real plot…” and a sentence beginning “Once you entered…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. For example, “it is totally depends” has an incorrect verb pattern, “the cinema are” has subject–verb disagreement, and “people can have the best experience with however they want to seat” has problems with clause structure and verb form. The final sentence is incomplete. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with correct agreement, articles and verb forms.
