Student answer (Band 5.5)
People have different view whether watching the movies is more enjoyable on technology or going cinema. Although some people prefer to watch movies on internet, i beleive that cinema is best way to watch movie closely.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some people think that watching films is good way on phones. First and foremost, these days, everyone have own phone, they can scroll down social media anytime when they are free from work because there are number of channels where they watch movies including mh one, apna tv and many more. Therefore, they can easily watch movie while sitting at home because it not only saves their money ontravel or ticket but also time because they have no need outside. In addition to it, when they go cinema, they need to watch movie completly while they are interest in it or not because they spend a considerable money on it however, if they watch on phones or tablets, they can easily replace it according to their interest without any thinking about money.
On the other hand, i favour those who think that watching movie in cinema is best option due to few reasons. Firstly, when they go cinema they get relives from stress because it helps to relax mind these days everyone suffer from stress due to more competition in every fileds so people need to spend a lot of time in front of screen for doing office and study work that is why they feel bored. Therefore, if they go cinema to watch movies they can enjoy more because they have an opportunities to watch movies closely. Apart from it, people can spend time their loved ones which helps them to make strong bonding between relationships because they have chance to know about their like and dislike which brings happiness in our lives.
To conclusion, while watching moive on computers is convenient way, i think going to cinema is effective approch to spend time with friends and family and get relives from screen.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and make your own position clear: you acknowledge the convenience and lower cost of watching at home, then state that cinema is the better experience. The reasons are relevant, particularly the chance to relax and spend time with loved ones. However, some points are more fully explained than others. The home-viewing paragraph focuses on phones and social media channels, but could explain more directly how watching films on a small screen compares with cinema viewing. The cinema paragraph’s claims about stress relief and stronger relationships would also benefit from a specific example or clearer explanation. Develop each main reason with a concrete illustration to make the discussion more balanced and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your preference. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclusion” help readers follow the discussion, and the ideas generally progress within each paragraph. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in connecting points. At times, however, links are mechanical, and several ideas are joined into long sentences, making the relationships between them less clear. For example, the sentence beginning “Firstly, when they go cinema” moves from stress to competition and screen time without clear sentence boundaries. Use shorter sentences and clearer references to improve flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “social media,” “stress,” “competition,” and “bonding.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make some phrases difficult to interpret. Examples include “watching the movies,” “get relives from stress,” “in every fileds,” and “effective approch.” Some expressions, such as “watch movies closely,” do not clearly convey the intended meaning of seeing a film on a large screen. Aim to learn common collocations for this topic and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your argument clearer and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “although,” and “while,” so there is some variety. The meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur often enough to affect clarity. For instance, “everyone have own phone” needs a singular verb and possessive determiner, while “they have an opportunities” has an article–plural mismatch. Some sentences run together, as in the explanation beginning “Firstly, when they go cinema,” and need clearer punctuation or division into separate sentences. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and article use, and build complex sentences around one clearly expressed main idea.
