Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this era of digital technology watching movies is become an essential part of every individual to stay entertained and fresh. Movies can help people to stay relaxed from their busy schedules and can keep mind healthy. Alot of people suggest that movies can be enjoyed at home only through phones or tablets and there is no need to go the theatres. While, on the other hand others do argue that watching films in a cinema is best way to enjoy movie. I strongly, believe that movies should be solely watched in cinema only to get the best experience of films.
Firstly, watching movie in theatre can keep us engaged throughout the film. It can help us to relive the cinema through audio and visual effects. For instance, movies like batman, spiderman and bahubali are meant to be seen in theatres. The effects which was there in those movies are exceptional and no one can ever enjoy those kind of cinema in any phone or tablets. Secondly, in cinema people can stay active because of cinematic exposure. At home people gets their comfort zone and they can switch off their phones or tablets at any time which can destory the concentration to watch the movie.
On the other hand, some believe that to watch cinema in phones or tablets can give you liability of controlling the movie speed, audio volume control and comfortable enviornment to watch movie at any place. Also, it gives the access to stop and play the movie. Furthermore, the biggest advantage to watch movie in phone or tablets is to watch movie at cheaper fees.
Overall, In my point of view it is very important to fully enjoy the movie with it's features. To gain those kind of experience it is essential to watch movies at cinema only.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear preference for cinema, especially in the introduction and conclusion. The cinema argument is supported with relevant examples such as superhero films and their visual and audio effects, and you explain how interruptions at home may reduce concentration. However, the view in favour of phones and tablets is less fully developed: you list convenience, control and lower cost, but do not explain who benefits from these features or illustrate them with an example. Some claims, such as people being “active” because of cinematic exposure, are unclear. Develop both sides more evenly and make each reason precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting cinema, a paragraph presenting the opposing view, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “On the other hand,” and “Furthermore” help readers follow the discussion, and your position remains consistent. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in linking ideas. However, several transitions feel mechanical, and the opening sentence of the cinema paragraph does not connect clearly to the claim about being engaged. The conclusion largely repeats the introduction rather than drawing the two views together. Use clearer links between each reason and its explanation, and vary transitions naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “audio and visual effects,” “concentration,” “comfortable environment,” and “access,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “relive the cinema,” “cinematic exposure,” and “give you liability.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “Alot,” “destory,” and “enviornment,” also reduce precision. Some repetition of “movie” and “watch” limits flexibility. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling; for example, describe the cinema experience as immersive rather than saying viewers “relive the cinema.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast structure beginning “While, on the other hand” and a relative clause in “The effects which was there in those movies.” The overall meaning is usually clear, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include “watching movies is become,” “people gets,” “in a cinema is best way,” and “movies should be solely watched in cinema only,” which show problems with verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. Punctuation is also inconsistent, as in “I strongly, believe” and the capitalised “In” after the comma in the conclusion. Review these patterns and proofread each sentence for agreement and article use.
