Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the job, explaining why it is suitable, and providing instructions on how to apply. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the job is for an electrician, you could have provided more specific details about the daily duties or the company culture to make the letter more engaging. The response is clear and fulfills the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your message. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'After that' and 'Other than that', though these transitions are occasionally used in a slightly mechanical or unnatural way. The progression of ideas is generally clear, moving from the purpose of the letter to the job details and finally to the application process. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words to connect your sentences more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, such as 'opportunity', 'diploma', and 'perks'. However, there are some issues with word choice and spelling, such as 'carreer' (career) and 'electicians' (electricians). Additionally, phrases like 'doing volunteer job' could be expressed more naturally as 'volunteering'. While your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate your message clearly, it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band score. Focus on learning common collocations related to employment.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as missing articles ('looking for job' instead of 'looking for a job'), incorrect verb tenses ('I Started looking job'), and punctuation issues (spacing around commas). While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning. To reach a higher band, focus on subject-verb agreement, consistent use of articles, and improving your control over sentence punctuation.
