A friend you made while you were studying abroad has written to ask you for help in finding a job in your country. You have heard about a job in a local company that might be suitable for him/her.

Write a letter to this friend. In your letter

• tell your friend about the job and what sort of work it involves
• say why you think the job would be suitable for him/her
• explain how to apply for the job

Dear Pam,

How are you? It was great to hear from you. I hope you are doing well. I am writing in response to your letter asking for help in finding a job in Canada.

I am thrilled to inform you that a local grain testing company is looking for a Grain Inspector. The job duties are collecting samples of the grain such as wheat and rice from the rail cars and performing a pest testing on it. Moreover, the Grain Inspector needs to submit his testing reports to the supervisor monthly.

I feel this job is suitable for you, since you did your graduation in Agriculture and have a valuable experience in the field. Furthermore, as you mentioned that you are holding a valid Canadian work permit, you will be easily considered for the job.

To apply for the job, you can either visit their website and apply online, or you can send your resume directly to the HR on their email which you can find on their website. I also suggest you to provide some references on your application to whom the HR can connect to get a feedback about your performance during your previous jobs.
