Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You described the job at the chess academy, explained why your friend's background in international tournaments makes him a suitable candidate, and provided clear instructions on how to apply. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. To improve, ensure that you provide slightly more detail in the 'what the work involves' section; while you mentioned teaching children, expanding on the daily responsibilities would make the response more fully developed and reach a higher band level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'so that why' (though the latter is grammatically awkward). Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different requirements of the task. To improve, work on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that transitions between sentences are smoother. Some of your sentences feel slightly disjointed, which prevents the flow from being fully natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'radiant health', 'international tournament', and 'academy'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'fade rating' (likely meaning FIDE rating) and 'at this movement' (instead of 'at the moment'). Additionally, 'i immediatly contact to my brother' is not standard English. While your meaning is generally clear, these errors in word choice and spelling prevent the vocabulary from being considered flexible or precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'When you tell me that you was searching a job' (subject-verb agreement and tense error), 'they hiring' (missing auxiliary verb), and 'you also keen to chess game' (missing verb). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of capital letters and commas. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and suggest a need for more careful proofreading of basic verb tenses and sentence construction.
