Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

You have addressed all three bullet points: describing the job, explaining its suitability, and providing application instructions. However, the response is under the 150-word minimum, which significantly impacts the development of your ideas. The description of the job is somewhat vague, and the explanation of why it is suitable for your friend lacks depth. To improve, you should expand on the specific duties of the role and provide more detailed reasons why your friend's background makes them a strong candidate. Because the response is under-length, it does not fully satisfy the requirements of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical structure, with a clear opening, body paragraphs, and a closing. However, the paragraphing is inconsistent and the flow between ideas is somewhat mechanical. For example, the transition between the job description and the suitability section is abrupt. While you use some cohesive devices, they are quite basic. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your sentences and paragraphs more fluidly, and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks variety. You rely on simple phrasing such as 'I saw this' and 'I can give you'. There are also minor spelling errors, such as 'immidately' (immediately). To improve, try to incorporate more precise and professional vocabulary related to job applications and workplace communication. Using a broader range of synonyms and collocations would help demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language and make your writing more engaging for the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include 'requires a bachelor degree' (missing 'a'), 'This posting for a customer advisor for our company' (fragmented sentence), and 'you already have an education and experience for it' (missing article). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the overall clarity of your message. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage to improve your accuracy.
