Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The letter successfully addresses all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly describe the accountant role, explain why it is suitable for your friend by linking it to their education and the company's growth, and provide instructions on how to apply. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. To reach a higher band, you could provide more specific details about the company or the nature of the 'financial projects' to further develop your ideas and make the letter feel more authentic and engaging.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for each bullet point, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'According to me', and 'Hence' to connect your ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive. To improve, try to vary your linking words and ensure that the flow between sentences is smoother. For instance, the transition between the job description and the reasons for suitability could be more fluidly integrated.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'financial projects', 'professional details', and 'secured'. There are some minor spelling errors, such as 'writting' instead of 'writing' and 'profesional' instead of 'professional'. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your message clearly, it remains somewhat basic. Incorporating more precise collocations or less common vocabulary related to the business context would help elevate your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and compound sentences. There are several punctuation errors, specifically missing spaces after periods (e.g., 'there. The', 'role.According', 'you.I'). Additionally, there are minor grammatical slips, such as 'In regard to apply' (should be 'In regard to applying') and 'as it related to' (should be 'as it relates to'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a greater variety of complex sentence structures.
