A friend you made while you were studying abroad has written to ask you for help in finding a job in your country. You have heard about a job in a local company that might be suitable for him/her.

Write a letter to this friend. In your letter

• tell your friend about the job and what sort of work it involves
• say why you think the job would be suitable for him/her
• explain how to apply for the job

Dear Surjit,

I hope you are doing well. I am very excited, after hearing from you that you are looking for a job in Canada. I recently heard about a suitable position at a local company and thought you might be interested in it.

The company is currently looking for a customer service representative. The job mainly involves answering customer's questions, dealing with complaints, responding to emails and helping people with their orders.

I think it would be a great opportunity for you because you have excellent communication skills and you are very friendly, calm and punctual as well.

Moreover, you have a lot of interest in this field.

To apply, you simply need to visit the company's official website and complete the online application form. You should upload your CV and a short cover letter. I can send you the job link if you would like.
