Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: it describes the job, explains why it is suitable, and provides application instructions. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. For example, the explanation of why the job is suitable relies on a simple list of duties rather than a more nuanced connection to the friend's specific skills. While the task requirements are met, the response would benefit from more natural phrasing and a more cohesive flow of information to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally awkward, such as 'Therefore, I let you who to apply this job'. The transition between the job description and the application process feels abrupt. While the overall arrangement is coherent, the lack of sophisticated linking words and some issues with referencing (e.g., 'I head chartwell') make the flow feel slightly disjointed at times.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of awkward word choice and minor errors, such as 'I am writer this letter' instead of 'I am writing' and 'I head chartwell' instead of 'I heard about Chartwell'. The range of vocabulary is limited to basic, functional terms related to the nursing profession. To improve, you should focus on using more natural collocations and ensuring that word forms are used correctly in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'I find one job' (tense error), 'they required degree' (missing article), and 'you would be perfect to for this' (preposition error). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. A greater focus on subject-verb agreement, article usage, and correct prepositional phrases would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
