Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You introduce the job, explain why it is suitable for your friend, and provide instructions on how to apply. However, the tone is somewhat inconsistent, and the content is occasionally unclear, such as the phrase 'Here not any challanging roll'. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the development of ideas is limited by the brevity of the sentences and the lack of professional detail regarding the job description. To improve, ensure you provide more descriptive language to help your friend understand the nature of the work and the company culture.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure of your message. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the abrupt transition 'Just first you prepare your resume'. The referencing is occasionally confusing, for example, using 'him' in the first paragraph when addressing 'Ravi' directly. While the overall progression is clear, the lack of sophisticated linking words makes the flow feel somewhat disjointed. Increasing the variety of transition signals would help improve the logical flow between your ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient for the task, but it is quite basic and contains several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'rediant' (radiant), 'challanging' (challenging), 'trobuleshooting' (troubleshooting), and 'expriance' (experience). These errors are frequent and occasionally distract the reader. You rely on simple sentence structures and limited descriptive vocabulary. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise professional terminology related to engineering and work environments, and pay closer attention to the correct spelling of common words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have frequent errors in basic grammar, such as 'I hope this letter find in you' (finds you), 'I heard about a job... that might be suitable for him' (you), and 'may be take time' (might take time). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are problematic throughout the text. While these errors do not completely prevent communication, they are frequent enough to impede the flow of the letter. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical structures and verb tenses.
