Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the job, explaining why it is suitable, and providing application instructions. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the job is 'related to your study' and 'helpful for your immigration purpose,' these points could be expanded with more detail to fully satisfy the requirements of a higher band. The letter is clear and the purpose is well-defined throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite basic and repetitive. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures and lack a variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly. For instance, the transition between the job description and the application process is abrupt. Using more sophisticated transitions like 'Furthermore,' 'Consequently,' or 'In addition to this' would improve the flow and coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient to convey the message, but it is quite limited and repetitive. You use basic terms like 'good' or 'easy' and struggle with collocations, such as 'said me to find job' (should be 'asked me to find a job') and 'blessings of needy people' (which sounds unnatural in this context). To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise vocabulary related to employment and professional settings, such as 'vacancy,' 'qualifications,' or 'application procedure.'

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader, such as missing articles ('I found one job', 'apply this job'), incorrect verb forms ('you will for sienna long term care'), and punctuation issues. While your meaning is generally clear, the range of structures is limited to simple sentences. You need to incorporate more complex sentence structures, such as relative clauses or conditional sentences, and pay closer attention to basic subject-verb agreement and preposition usage to improve your accuracy.
