Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response covers all bullet points required by the prompt. You successfully told your friend about the job at Taj restaurant involving managerial work, explained why it is suitable because of his past seven years of experience in his home country, and clearly explained how to apply either in person or online at Preet Plaza. The tone is appropriate for a friendly letter. However, some ideas are slightly limited and lack full elaboration, which keeps this performance at a Band 6 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear friendly opening and closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Apart from this', and 'due to that' to link your ideas. However, the paragraphing is somewhat weak, and some transitions feel a bit mechanical or unnatural. Referencing is generally clear, but the lack of more sophisticated organizational features places this section firmly in the Band 6 category.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your message effectively. You attempted some less common vocabulary items such as 'infastrured' (infrastructure) and 'cooperative', but there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors, including 'advertisment', 'avaliable', 'clthoes', 'restaruants', and 'manger'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they reflect a Band 5 level of lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrated a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'I heard that you are finding a job in my nation' and 'you would not be felt bore and alone because my friends are supportive'. There are several grammatical errors and awkward phrasings, including 'you has experience', 'you would not be felt bore', 'whether in person or by online', and capitalization issues like 'i'. These errors cause occasional minor difficulties for the reader, fitting the Band 5 descriptors.
