Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, successfully covering the job details, why it suits your friend, and the application process. However, some aspects are more fully developed than others. For example, while the description of the application process and required documents is quite detailed, the explanation of the job itself and why it is suitable remains somewhat limited and under-developed, such as mentioning the role of Sales Manager without fully elaborating on its daily responsibilities or how it matches your friend's specific background beyond general traits.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear friendly opening and logical progression from introducing the job to explaining application steps. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. The transitions between sentences feel abrupt at times, such as 'Job title is Sale manager. As is know you have great experience to manage the staff.' Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as seen in punctuation issues and missing link words between clauses, which prevents the flow from being completely smooth and natural.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'experienced and qualified candidate', 'top-rated UK based company', and 'international format CV'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occur throughout the text, such as 'advertisment' instead of advertisement, 'Sale manager' instead of Sales Manager, 'discription' instead of description, and 'permenant adress' instead of permanent address. These inaccuracies show a lack of precision, though they do not impede overall communication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing includes a mix of simple and some complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in articles, prepositions, and basic structures, such as 'I am writing a letter to inform you about one good news', 'suitable your personality', 'meet there level', and 'Required Documents is one passport size photo'. Punctuation is also problematic, particularly with sentence splices and run-on sentences like 'I saw advertisment on magazine, This is for an experienced...'. These frequent errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.
