Overall5.5

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your letter addresses all parts of the prompt, meaning you have successfully mentioned the job details, explained why it suits your friend, and described how to apply. However, some bullet points are more fully developed than others. For instance, the details regarding the bakery work, such as 'cleaning as well baker for their company to bake products like cake, pastries and etc.', are slightly under-developed and lack specificity. Similarly, the explanation of how to apply could be extended with more specific details to fully flesh out the response. Despite these minor limitations in development, your purpose is clear and the tone is appropriately friendly and informative throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

Your letter presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear, logical progression from the opening greeting to the final sign-off. You use paragraphs to separate different ideas, which helps guide the reader through the message. To achieve the next level fully, your use of cohesive devices could be smoother and less mechanical. For example, transitions like 'For apply that job' and 'After that' feel a bit repetitive and basic. Improving how you link sentences and managing referencing more naturally across the whole letter will elevate your cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting some less common words and phrases like 'culinary skills' and 'assistance'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally distract the reader, such as 'woundering' instead of 'wondering', 'excellient' instead of 'excellent', 'grocieries' instead of 'groceries', and the incorrect collocation 'For apply that job' instead of 'To apply for that job'. These lexical inaccuracies prevent the vocabulary score from rising higher, as they show a limited control over spelling and precise word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as using 'Because i know that you are...' and 'Let me know if you need any assistance.' There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing prepositions or incorrect verb forms like 'I hope you are doing' instead of 'I hope you are doing well', 'is one small scale bakery they are looking' which creates a run-on structure, and missing capitalization on 'i' and 'komal'. While these errors rarely impede overall communication, their frequent presence across basic grammatical patterns places your grammar at this level.
