Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover the three main points: you describe a glass-packing job, connect its night shifts to your friend’s daytime classes, and explain that they can apply through Indeed by sending a résumé. The reference to their previous bread-packing work also gives a relevant reason for recommending the role. However, the task is only partly developed: the company’s duties and application steps remain vague, and the opening is difficult to understand (“when you meet me in the collage the ask me find a good job”). Clarify what the worker would do and give more precise application instructions, such as what job title to search for and which documents to submit. A clearer, more complete explanation would make the letter more effective.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The ideas are broadly in a useful order: you introduce the job, explain why it suits your friend, and finish with how to apply. However, almost the entire letter is one long paragraph, so the reader has little help separating these points. Connections are also repetitive or unclear, especially the repeated “that why” and the sequence beginning “like you are student.” Use separate paragraphs for the job, its suitability, and the application process. Add clear transitions such as “I thought of you because…” and “To apply…” and use pronouns carefully so it is always clear who is doing each action. These changes would create a more consistent progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic situation, including “packing company,” “night worker,” “experience,” and “resume.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the letter less clear or natural, such as “glass packing comany,” “collage,” and “good amount.” Some phrases are also imprecise: “Its a glass packing job” does not explain the work, while “find a job for you like its a local packing company” is awkward. Choose more precise expressions for the role and duties, and check spelling and collocations. For example, “glass-packaging position” and “submit your résumé” would sound more appropriate in a job-related letter.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect several ideas in longer sentences, but these structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make the message harder to follow. For example, “when you meet me in the collage the ask me find” has problems with tense, sentence structure, and missing grammatical words. There are also repeated errors in articles, agreement, and verb forms, as in “the company need a 10 person” and “you have a experince.” Punctuation is limited, with several complete ideas joined by “and” or “that why.” Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them accurately using clauses such as “Because you have worked in bread packaging, you already have relevant experience.”
