Student answer (Band 5.5)

Dear saalim!

I have received your letter.About looking for a job.

A day before yesterday i have heard about an company who were in search of employees.

Its an mobile manufacturing company offering for helping management tasks.

I personally believe that you suit this position the most according to your buissness management studies. There is nothing more complicated about doing work but you just have to manage staff, fianance and transportation. Moreover, its quit easier but the only place you are goong to struggle is that you will work atleast 10 hours a day but I know you can do it.

I am sending you a link, through that link you can submit you CV but do not forget about any experience letters that you held in the past. Its an simple process, and if you received any email so then you can come for an interview

Thankyou

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the three main points: you mention a job at a mobile manufacturing company, describe management duties, explain why your friend’s business-management studies may suit the role, and give a basic application route through a link and CV. However, the job description and application instructions are quite general: the company and role are not identified more precisely, and it is unclear where the link comes from or what documents and steps are required. The suitability explanation is also brief, with little detail connecting your friend’s experience to the duties. The purpose is clear, but some ideas remain limited or under-developed. Add specific information about the role and a clearer sequence of application steps to address the task more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter follows a broadly sensible order: it introduces the job, explains why it may suit your friend, and then describes how to apply. Linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “but” help connect some points. However, the response is presented as one continuous block, so the shifts between the job description, suitability, and application process are not clearly signposted. Some connections are also awkward, such as “About looking for a job” after the opening, and “if you received any email so then” does not clearly express the sequence. Use separate paragraphs for the three main points and clearer transitions, such as “The role involves…” and “To apply…”, to make the progression easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough job-related vocabulary to communicate the general idea, including “management tasks,” “staff,” “finance,” “transportation,” “CV,” and “interview.” However, the range is limited, and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate or unnatural, which can make details harder to understand. For example, “offering for helping management tasks” does not clearly describe the role, while “experience letters that you held” is not a natural way to refer to supporting documents. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “buissness,” “fianance,” and “goong.” Choose precise employment terms and check spelling; for instance, describe “management responsibilities” and “previous employment references.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple and longer sentence forms, including a reason clause in “I personally believe that you suit this position… according to your… studies” and a conditional sentence about receiving an email. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the message difficult to read. Examples include “I have received your letter.About looking for a job,” “an company,” and “if you received any email so then you can come.” The opening also needs a complete, connected sentence, and several sentences run together without appropriate spacing or punctuation. Practise accurate article use and conditional forms, and divide longer ideas into clear sentences while retaining some complex structures.
