Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify a possible customer-service job, mention that it involves handling telephone customers, and give a basic online application process. However, the task is only partly addressed: the duties are vague, the reason the role suits Abhay is not explained, and the application instructions are difficult to follow. The claim that the company helps poor people does not show why your friend is a good fit. The closing sentence also does not clearly complete the letter. The response contains 139 words, so it is 11 words below the required minimum; 16 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count. Add relevant detail about the work, your friend’s strengths, and each application step.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic sequence: you introduce the job, describe it briefly, then explain how to apply. This gives the reader some sense of the letter’s purpose. However, the ideas are crowded into one long opening paragraph and a short application paragraph, with no clear separation between the job description and why it might suit Abhay. Connectors such as “Whenever” and “In Conclusion” do not express the relationships intended, and the final sentence repeats the general idea rather than providing a clear closing. Use distinct paragraphs for the opportunity, its suitability, and the application process, and link each point with straightforward, accurate transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “customer services,” “company,” “website,” and “registration,” so the reader can identify the general topic. However, the range is basic and several word choices or spellings make the message hard to understand, such as “seat” for a job position, “telepohne custimers,” and “chartible.” Phrases such as “the works is very simple” and “a lot of work” are imprecise and do not explain the duties. Aim for accurate, natural expressions for job responsibilities and application steps. Proofread spelling carefully, and choose vocabulary that conveys specific information rather than relying on broad phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response mainly uses short, simple statements and attempts a few longer structures, but grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes obscure the intended meaning. For example, “you are well doing I can heard” has problems with word order, verb form, and sentence boundaries; “the works is” has a number-agreement error; and “after all details are fill” uses an incorrect passive form. Articles and sentence punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “a job in local company” and the long opening sentence. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense, agreement, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
