Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you mention a local company and possible front-desk or customer-service work, explain that the role involves communication and helping customers, and give application steps through the company website and an online advertisement. Your reasons for recommending the job—your friend is friendly, hardworking, responsible, and enjoys helping people—are relevant. However, the job description remains general: it is not clear which position is available or what its day-to-day duties would be. The application advice is also brief, with no details about what documents to submit or how to follow up. Develop these points more specifically so each part of the task is equally clear and useful.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter follows a sensible overall order: an opening, information about the job and its suitability, then application advice and a closing. This makes the main purpose understandable. However, most of the content is placed in one long paragraph, so the job description, reasons for suitability, and application instructions are not clearly separated. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, particularly the repeated use of “also” and the transition from “This company also provides the training” to the personal qualities. The references to “her” and later “you” also make it less clear who the job is intended for. Use separate paragraphs for the main points and clearer links between them.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “job opportunity,” “customer service representative,” “training,” “resume,” and “application online.” These choices help communicate the topic. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, for example “oportnuities,” “employess,” “respresentative,” and “hepling.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “heard a job opportunity” and “many others things.” The repeated use of “suitable” and “provides” limits variety. Aim to learn accurate spelling of workplace terms and use natural collocations, such as “heard about a vacancy” and “the role involves assisting customers.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including “I think this job is suitable for you because you are friendly, hardworking, and responsible.” This shows some ability to connect ideas, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles, and punctuation occur across the letter. For example, “I am hear from your” and “I believed that this job is suitable” use incorrect forms, while “Because it provides…” is an incomplete sentence in this context. Capitalisation after full stops is also inconsistent, as in “if you need more details.” Practise forming complete sentences and checking subject–verb patterns, articles, and verb tense before sending the letter.
