Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You cover all three requested points: you describe a supervisor role at an Indian restaurant, connect it to Harleen’s restaurant-management studies and hotel experience, and explain that she can apply through the company website. These details make the letter relevant and useful. The job duties—monitoring the restaurant and handling inventory—are clear, while the application instructions are practical. To make the response more fully developed, clarify the role’s responsibilities and add useful application details, such as what documents to prepare or whom to contact. The suitability explanation is persuasive but could be more specific about how her previous management experience matches the listed duties.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The letter has a clear progression: you introduce the vacancy, explain why it suits Harleen, give application instructions, and close with a friendly sentence. Paragraphing supports this sequence, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” help signal the move to the final point. The ideas are generally easy to follow. To make the organisation more polished, connect some short statements more smoothly—for example, the opening description of the job could be combined into a complete sentence—and use clearer references when giving website instructions. The overall structure is effective, though a few transitions and sentence links could feel more natural rather than abrupt.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “Supervisor,” “relevant experience,” “restaurant management,” “inventory,” and “apply online.” This gives the reader a clear understanding of the vacancy and the application process. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “fast-pased,” “comfertable,” “scoll,” and “haritage,” and some phrases are not idiomatic, such as “better option” and “handle whole restaurant.” These errors do not prevent understanding, but they reduce precision and polish. Check spelling carefully and learn natural collocations for describing duties and suitability, such as “oversee restaurant operations” and “a suitable opportunity.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You communicate the main ideas using a mix of simple sentences and some longer structures, including the reason introduced by “because” and the conditional phrase “if you are interested.” Meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “I am writing to inform to you” has an unnecessary preposition, “This job at an Indian restaurant as a Supervisor” is a sentence fragment, and “They need a experienced employee who have” has article and subject–verb agreement errors. There are also tense and sentence-construction issues in “I remember that you also work.” Aim to produce complete sentences and check articles, agreement, and verb forms; this will make your message more accurate while preserving its friendly tone.
