Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you identify a customer service representative position, explain that it involves communication, problem-solving and basic computer skills, and give application steps. Your reason that hospitality management is relevant, supported by your friend’s presentation skills, is also appropriate. However, the job description is not fully clear: “basic computer knowledge is not exceptional one” is difficult to interpret, and the application instructions rely on vague directions such as “the first link” without naming the company’s website or explaining what to search for. Clarifying the duties and giving precise application details would develop the less complete parts of the letter and make your help more useful.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: you introduce the opportunity, explain why it suits your friend, and then describe how to apply. Paragraph breaks and signposting such as “Furthermore,” “Firstly,” and “Lastly” help the reader follow this progression. The friendly opening and closing also suit the purpose. To make the organisation more polished, avoid relying on a sequence of formulaic transitions and connect related details more naturally. For example, the job requirements and your friend’s relevant experience could be grouped and linked in one paragraph. The application instructions would also be easier to follow if each step were stated precisely, rather than using “the first link” and “then” without a clear reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “customer service representative,” “problem solving skills,” “hospitality management,” and “resume.” This gives the reader a general understanding of the job and your reasons for recommending it. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “representitive,” “resposiblities,” “forword,” and “flitering.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, particularly “basic computer knowledge is not exceptional one” and “fill your required filling in the blanks.” These issues make parts of the message harder to understand. Check spelling carefully and choose more precise, natural expressions, such as “basic computer skills are required” and “complete the application form.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate the main message using a mixture of short statements and longer sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and an instruction sequence. However, errors in sentence structure and verb forms are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “you doing the hospitality management” needs a finite verb, while “which directly relate to this job” has an agreement problem. “I observe you is perfect” also combines an incorrect tense with an incorrect verb form. Articles and sentence punctuation need attention too, as in “a perfect job” and the capitalisation of “i” and “How” after the greeting. Practise accurate present and past forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence patterns before adding more complex structures.
