Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover the main points by identifying a forklift job, saying it is available locally, explaining that it offers good pay, and mentioning online application sites. You also give a reason for recommending it: your friend may be able to change profession. However, the job description is very brief, and the suitability explanation is not developed with details about your friend’s skills or experience. The application instructions are also unclear: “apply there from indeed and job bank” does not explain what to search for or what information to submit. The letter communicates its purpose, but some task points are only partly addressed. Add practical details about duties and a clearer, more personalised reason for recommending the role.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The ideas are generally relevant and follow a broad sequence: you introduce the situation, recommend a job, explain how to apply, and close with an offer of further help. However, the response is presented as one long block, so the reader has little visual guidance. Several ideas run together, particularly the job recommendation and application details, and transitions such as “but somehow” are not used clearly. The repeated use of “and” also makes the progression feel mechanical. Separate the letter into short paragraphs and use clear links such as “I thought of you because…” and “To apply, you can…”. This would make the information easier to follow without changing its friendly tone.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the central message, including “forklift job,” “pay rate,” and “apply.” However, the range is limited, and several word choices or spellings make the letter less clear or natural. For example, “effortless job” may not mean what you intend, while “spot you” is an unsuitable expression for offering support. Forms such as “oppertunitys,” “availabe,” and “personily” also reduce accuracy. Choose more precise language for the work and application process, and check spelling carefully. Phrases such as “forklift operator position,” “good hourly wage,” and “apply in person” would express your meaning more naturally and appropriately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response relies mainly on simple clauses joined together, with limited control of more varied sentence structures. Errors in sentence formation and punctuation are frequent: “i really happy” is missing a verb, and “there is various types of jobs are availabe” combines incompatible structures and has an agreement problem. The sentence beginning “i suggest you one job” also lacks a clear grammatical pattern. Capitalisation and full stops are inconsistent, making several long sentences difficult to read. Practise forming complete sentences with a subject and verb, and use punctuation to separate each main idea. For example: “I suggest a forklift operator position. My friend started there a few days ago, and the pay is good.”
