Dear Yash,
Yesterday, I received your letter and feel excited that you want to work in my country. I am writing this letter to give you suggestions for a job, which you asked me in letter.
Two days ago, while reading a newspaper, I saw a local construction company posted vacancy for project engineer. They need person who can manage entire project from excavation to construction, reporting and quality documentations of residential building. These job responsibilities align with your previous experience. In addition you have done your masters in Civil engineering this job will definitly suit on you.
Furthermore, they mentioned that candidate can apply for this job through their official website or given email address. I also attached their website and email id.
I hope you would like my suggestion. If you need any help from my side feel free to call me without any hesitation.
Yours lovingly,
Ravi

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
You address all three points clearly: you identify a project engineer vacancy, describe duties such as managing a project and reporting, connect the role to your friend’s experience and Civil Engineering master’s degree, and explain that applications can be sent through the company website or email. The letter also maintains a friendly, appropriate purpose and tone. The main limitation is that some details are asserted rather than fully developed: for example, you say the responsibilities align with your friend’s experience but do not specify which experience or skills make the match convincing. The application guidance is also brief; adding what documents to submit or how to find the vacancy would make the advice more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The information follows a clear, sensible progression: you introduce the reason for writing, describe the vacancy and its suitability, then explain how to apply before closing warmly. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking phrases such as “In addition” and “Furthermore” make the relationships between ideas clear. The letter is easy to follow overall. To make the organisation more polished, avoid placing several related points in one long paragraph and use transitions that connect ideas more naturally. For instance, the job duties and the explanation of why your friend is qualified could be separated or linked with a clearer cause-and-effect sentence. The reference to an attached website and email is understandable, but could be integrated more smoothly with the application instructions.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the letter, including relevant terms such as “vacancy,” “project engineer,” “excavation,” “quality documentation,” and “residential building.” These choices communicate the job’s nature and make the response specific to construction work. There are, however, some inaccurate or unnatural word choices and collocations, such as “quality documentations,” “suit on you,” and “email id.” The spelling error “definitly” also affects accuracy. These do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, but they limit precision and naturalness. Aim to learn common combinations such as “suit you,” “quality documentation,” and “email address,” and check spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and more complex sentence forms, including a time clause beginning “while reading a newspaper” and a relative clause describing the job. The meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors occur. For example, “I saw a local construction company posted vacancy” needs a grammatical structure such as “I saw that a local construction company had posted a vacancy.” In “They need person who can manage,” the article is missing, and “These job responsibilities align” has a number-agreement problem. The sentence beginning “In addition” also needs clearer punctuation and clause structure. Practise articles, verb forms, and agreement, and divide longer sentences where needed; this will improve accuracy while preserving your range.
