Student answer (Band 7.0)
In the modern world, it is undeniable that organisation and cleanliness play an important role in everday life. Some people argue it is important to keep our home or workplace tidy and organised, while some people oppose this viewpoint. In my opinion, if we make our wokplace tidy and organised it will be beneficial for us in diferent ways.
One of the main reason is that, if we make our workplace tidy it will enhance the work efficiency and productivity. When items are well organised, everything's on their right place it will easy to find without wasting time. For example, in the workplace, worker who organised his desk and put documents in their right place, complete their tasks before the deadline and in productive way. In addition, a clean and wel organised environment decrease the distraction and help people to concentrate better on their work.
Another reason is this culture reduce mental stress. People who follow tidiness at their workplace feel distress because they do not have to struggle to find important papers when needed. In contarst, people who have scattered all the papers everywhere found difficulites and even penalities for late response. Moreover, this trend also reduced hazards at home. If the residence is not tidy enough it will cause serious causes, even death if avoided for long period of time. For example, cooking oil or water spilage on floor could be cause of serious injury if not cleaned.
To conclude, I believe keeping our workplace and home tidy and well organised can be beneficial in the way of enhance in work productvity and personal well being, thus eveyone should follow this for better workculture.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing a clear opinion and supporting it with relevant reasons such as increased productivity and reduced mental stress. The ideas are extended with examples, such as the mention of workplace efficiency and home safety hazards. However, the development is somewhat basic, and the argument could be strengthened by exploring the counter-perspective more deeply or providing more nuanced real-world examples. The position is consistent throughout the essay, and the conclusion effectively summarizes the main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific aspect of the topic. Cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'Another reason', and 'In contrast' are used to guide the reader through the argument. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are occasional issues with referencing, such as 'this culture' which is not clearly defined. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, though the flow could be improved with more sophisticated linking phrases.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'work efficiency', 'productivity', and 'hazards'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'everday', 'wokplace', 'diferent', 'wel', and 'productvity'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable but do not impede communication. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on accuracy in spelling and attempt to incorporate a wider range of less common, more precise collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'everything's on their right place' instead of 'everything is in its right place' and 'worker who organised' instead of 'a worker who organizes'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in sentence construction. The range of structures is sufficient, but the frequency of errors prevents a higher score.
