Student answer (Band 6.0)
Organised house and workspace increase the productivity, people often says that, not only tidy workplace increases productivity but also clear the mind. In my opinion, after certain period organising things becomes a positive habit it its done regularly.
Firstly, unorganised space creates confusion. The work desk should be clear as most of the time individual spends most of the time working, messy desk usually supress the productivity of an individual. For instance, in school teacher always teaches to keep the desk clear because it helps to concerntrate on a task given. Moreover, it creates distraction and leads to fatigue.
Secondly, putting things at it designated place after use reduces after work. For example, putting dirty dish in the dishwasher after uses can reduce the stress of clearing everything at once. Furtheremore, first thing in the morning can be making the bed after waking up not only it helps to kick start the day gives but also give sence of achievement, knowing the bedroom is tidy. Besides this, people sometimes forgets where they have put thier stuff like car keys, wallet. So making a habit of putting those things at designated place helps to recall and help to find it easier, instead of stressing about it.
To conclude, organised person can achieve more in life as it makes life simpler and hassel free. It gives freedome to individual to think more and concentrate without being distracted. It saves time rather than searching for things all over the place.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of tidiness in the home and workplace. However, the essay falls slightly short of the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of development. While the main ideas are relevant, some points, such as the example of the teacher, are somewhat simplistic. The position is clear throughout, but the development of ideas could be more extensive to reach a higher band. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, ensure you expand on your examples and provide a more robust explanation of how tidiness impacts long-term productivity and mental well-being.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Besides this' and 'Furtheremore'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, for instance, 'it its done' and 'it helps to kick start the day gives but also give sence'. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence of the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several spelling errors, such as 'supress', 'concerntrate', 'sence', 'thier', and 'hassel'. Additionally, some collocations are unnatural, such as 'reduce after work' and 'clear the mind' (which is used correctly, but the surrounding context is weak). To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items, and pay closer attention to spelling and accurate word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('people often says', 'teacher always teaches'), missing articles ('in school teacher'), and awkward phrasing ('not only it helps to kick start the day gives but also give sence'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma splices and run-on sentences. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents a higher score. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors is essential.
