Student answer (Band 6.5)
Being organised is one of the most important goals of every human in today's fast paced world. Therefore, some people suggest that it is very vital for every individual to be disciplined in personal and work life to succeed in future. I completely agree with this view and in the upcoming paragraphs, state some points in favour of this notion.
To begin with, there are numerous benefits of doing this. First of all, it helps to build a person's character and mindset. Being well organised and disciplined shape an individual's attitude towards his/her goals. For example an army soldier does not only only learn discipline to stay in the force but also to live a better personal life by prioritizing his/her family members. Secondly, when a person works or lives in a neat space, he/she can be more focused to fulfill their daily tasks more effectively.
Apart from above, surroundings of a person tell about a lot about him/her. Therefore, a person who is organised all the time have more chances to succeed in the life. For example getting promotion easily by shoeing your neat and disciplined character to your boss. Additionally, an individual can set an example in front of his younger generation to stay organised to lead a better life. For example, by teaching these traits to junior staff at office or to kids at home.
At last, in my opinion, a person must have a discipline in his/her life in respect of the environment he/she is growing. These values determine later at stage, how a person will become in the near future. Therefore, we all should try to be neat and tidy as much possible at both pace, work and home.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed the prompt clearly and maintained a consistent position throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of discipline for character building and professional success. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the example of the army soldier is a good start, but it could be expanded to explain exactly how tidiness translates into better family management. Similarly, the point about promotions is a strong argument but remains a bit generic. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting example is fully explained to demonstrate a deeper connection to the main argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Secondly', and 'Apart from above' to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'Apart from above'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for example, in the final paragraph, the phrase 'in respect of the environment he/she is growing' is somewhat vague and disrupts the flow of the argument. Improving the variety and sophistication of your linking words would enhance the overall cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'disciplined', 'prioritizing', and 'traits'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor errors, such as 'shoeing' instead of 'showing' and 'at both pace' instead of 'at both places'. The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure that you are using the correct word forms in context, rather than relying on repetitive or slightly inaccurate phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. For example, 'a person who is organised all the time have more chances' should be 'has more chances' (subject-verb agreement). There are also issues with article usage and prepositions, such as 'in the life' instead of 'in life' and 'at both pace' instead of 'in both environments'. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article consistency.
